Buyback, Returns, Refund and Replacement
We guarantee your satisfaction at Federated Mart. We provide all our customers with buyback, return and exchange policy on everything we sell. All precious metal bullion items, bars and coins sold by Federated Mart will be accepted for exchange, return or buyback as per the prevailing terms & conditions of and at the sole discretion of Federated Mart Systems Private Limited.
General Terms
  • Original invoice accompanying the product needs to be submitted by the customer at the time of return, exchange or buyback.
  • All payments to the customer will be made via Bank transfer modes including but not limited to NEFT/IMPS/RTGS/UPI or Cheque/Demand Draft or Store Credit subject to our discretion.
  • At our discretion, we may require a Government issued photo ID by the person making any request for exchange, return or buyback
  • All products will be accepted for return, exchange or buyback after due examination for damage, weight & originality
  • For Returns for Refund and buyback, the precious metal content of the item will be valued on the basis of prevailing market rate on the day of return or buyback
  • For cases where you are shipping item(s) to us on your own, whether for buyback, exchange or refund, Federated Mart will not be responsible for any lost shipment or damage during transit from your end to us. Please make sure to follow the steps outlined in our reverse shipping guide.
7-Day Replacement Guarantee

We stand behind the quality and geniuneness of all the products we sell. If you have received a damaged or defective product or it is not as described, you can get a replacement within 7 days of delivery at no extra cost, subject to the following terms:

  • You need to report a damaged or defective item within 7 days of delivery post which no claims whatsoever shall be entertained.
  • If an item is returned within seven (7) days from the date of delivery, full invoice value will be adjusted against exchange, including any Shipping or COD charges. Post seven days, buyback clause will be applicable.
  • You need to contact our customer helpdesk and provide them with relevant order and verification details to initiate the return/replacement.
  • We will generate a Return Authorization Code for you which will will be sent to you via email and SMS/WhatsApp. Please note no returns will be accepted without the Return Authorization Code.
  • The product should not be custom made as per customers specifications.
  • Product should not be damaged due to mishandling, misuse or tampering IN ANY WAY with the product at the customer end.
  • Item should be in AS-IS condition when delivered and in original packaging.
  • Manufacturer packaging card of the Coin or Bar should not have been opened or tampered with.
  • Any tamper proof seals or stickers placed by the manufacturer or Federated Mart on the product should be intact.
  • Any Assay/Hallmark certificates accompanying the product must be present.
  • Items will be inspected for signs of damage, tampering or misuse. Exchange/replacement will not be initiated till the returned item(s) has been received and verified by us.
  • Original invoice needs to be preserved and sent along with the return. You may keep a copy for your records.
  • If your location is serviced by our courier partner(s), we shall arrange for the reverse pickup, otherwise you need to ship the product back to us and we will reimburse you for all shipping costs incurred by you.
  • If you are shipping the product back to us yourself (i.e. reverse pickup has not been arranged by Federated Mart), please make sure to select an appropriate shipping provider and take all steps possible to ensure the package reaches us safely and undamaged.
  • For reverse shipping back the product to us, please make sure to follow the steps outlined in our shipping guide
  • If you don't follow the steps outlined in our shipping guide or are using your own provider to ship back the items, we will NOT be responsible for any lost shipment or damage during transit.
  • All return shipping costs shall be borne by us.
  • Once we receive your item, we will notify you of the same via SMS/WhatsApp and email.
  • Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we will issue a replacement and will notify you of the same via email and SMS/WhatsApp.
  • We reserve the right to refund your money via ANY of the methods outlined in Section 1. General Terms if an acceptable replacement is not available.
  • We reserve the right to reject replacement or refund if the item(s) do not pass our inspection.
Customer Discretionary Exchange/Replacement Policy

We realize sometimes you may change your mind and wish to exchange the product you have received. This policy applies to items not covered by our 7-Day Replacement Guratantee. All precious metal items sold by Federated Mart Systems Pvt. Ltd. can be exchanged for another product of the same invoice value subject to the following conditions:

  • You need to notify us within 7 days of delivery if you wish to exchange an item.
  • If an item is returned within seven (7) days from the date of delivery, full invoice value will be adjusted against exchange, except any Shipping or COD charges (if charged). Post seven days, buyback clause will be applicable.

Returns for Refund Policy

Unlike other bullion providers in the market, we offer no-questions-asked refund policy on all our products subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • You need to notify us within 7 days of delivery if you wish to return an item for refund, post which buyback clause will be applicable.
  • Please note the following important points regarding Refund:
    1. Since all our products are bullion items, refund will be issued on the basis of prevailing Market Rates as determined by us ON THE DAY WE RECEIVE YOUR ITEM. At the discretion of Federated Mart Systems Pvt. Ltd., you may be required to pay for any market loss. Any market gains shall remain the property of Federated Mart Systems Pvt. Ltd.
    2. Please see the Section 6. Market Rates to know how we determine market rates.
    3. GST tax charged on your purchase will be refunded.
    4. Shipping charges and COD charges (if charged) will not be refunded.
    5. All reverse shipping charges shall be borne by the customer.
    6. If reverse pickup has been arranged by us, we shall charge you for the reverse shipping cost at our discretion.

  • We reserve the right to find an acceptable replacement in case we are not able to issue the refund due to any circumstances. If we choose to issue a replacement, our Section 3. Customer Discretionary Exchange/Replacement Policy shall be applicable.
  • We reserve the right to reject replacement or refund if the item(s) do not pass our inspection.
Buyback Policy & Process

We stand behind the products we sell throughout their life. We accept buyback for all products sold by us subject to the following condiions:

  • Only products sold by Federated Mart shall be eligible for buyback, irrespective of the manufacturer.
  • Any custom made items made by us for the customer shall be accepted for buyback.
  • Due to certain market conditions, we may suspend the buyback program temporarily at our discretion.
  • There is no time limit for initiating buyback. You can initiate buyback throughout the life of the product.
  • Please note the following important points regarding Buyback:
    1. Since all our products are bullion items, we will buy back all items on the basis of prevailing Market Rates as determined by us AT THE TIME OF BUYBACK APPROVAL. Any market gain or loss will be yours.
    2. Please see the Section 6. Market Rates to know how we determine market rates.
    3. GST tax charged on your purchase will NOT be refunded.
    4. All making charges will be deducted.
    5. Shipping charges and COD charges (if charged) will not be refunded.
    6. All reverse shipping (i.e., shipping from customer to us) charges shall be borne by the customer.
    7. If reverse pickup has been arranged by us, we shall charge you for the reverse shipping cost which will be deducted from your buyback amount.
    8. Our buy back will be done on the Market Rate minus a certain percentage. The percentage discount varies depending on the market conditions.
  • You need to contact our customer helpdesk and provide them with relevant details in order to initiate a buyback. We may ask you to share images of the item under buyback consideration via email or WhatsApp or any other medium.
  • Our customer service will intimate you the Market Price at which your buyback will be locked in.
  • Once you agree to the Market Rate and our buyback terms and we approve your buyback, your Market Rate for the item will be locked in and we will generate a Buyback Authorization Code for you. Please note no buybacks will be accepted without the Buyback Authorization Code
  • You will be sent and email and SMS/WhatsApp containing the details of your locked in market rate, Buyback Authorization Code and approximate amount you can expect to receive depending on the item(s). Exact amount you will receive will depend on the exact amount of metal content and purity determined by us when we receive your item.
  • Original invoice needs to be preserved and sent along with the item. You may keep a copy for your records.
  • We will inspect all items for purity, weight, gold/silver/metal content, genuineness, tampering. Compensation for buyback will not be initiated till the item(s) have been received and verified by us.
  • Buyback process will be quicker if item is undamaged and in original packaging.
  • At our discretion, we may offer enhanced buyback value for well-preserved items with untampered Manufacturer packing and intact tamper proof seals and stickers placed by the manufacturer or Federated Mart and any assay/hallmark certificates accompanying the original product.
  • Customers are fully responsible for safely shipping the buyback item(s) to us, whether using shipping provided by us (our courier partner) or their own. You may choose to insure the shipment at your expense. We will NOT be responsible for insurance or any lost shipment or damage during transit.
  • If your location is serviced by our courier partner(s), we shall arrange for the reverse pickup at our discretion, otherwise you need to ship the product to us.
  • We encourage you to make sure to follow the steps outlined in our shipping guide to minimize chances of loss, damage or theft during transit.
  • Once we receive your item, we will notify you of the same via SMS/WhatsApp and email.
  • We will also notify you via email and SMS/WhatsApp when we have completed verification and valuation of your item(s) and confirm to you the final buyback amount after deducting all charges and fees.
  • In case you are not satisfied with the buyback amount or any other detail related to buyback, we will ship you back the item at your cost.
  • Post inspection and valuation of the buyback item(s), whether you or Federated Mart Systems Pvt. Ltd. rejects buyback due to any circumstances, you will be required to prepay the reverse shipping charges from our end otherwise the item will not be shipped back to you.
  • Although we make best efforts to secure all our shipments, we will not be responsible for insuring the item(s) or any loss, damage or theft during transit of rejected buyback items.
  • We may refuse buyback for any item for any reason at our discretion.
  • We reserve the right to compensate you for the buyback via ANY of the methods outlined in Section 1. General Terms.
  • We reserve the right to find an acceptable replacement item in case we are not able to issue the buyback compensation due to any circumstances.
Market Rates

We try to determine and publish the most accurate and up-to-date Market Rates for all precious metals like Gold and Silver on the basis of various data sources such as:

  1. MCX Futures prices
  2. Daily rates for Gold and Silver published by India Bullion Jewellers Association
  3. Dollar prices for Gold and Silver in the international futures market as reflected by Gold XAUUSD and Silver XAGUSD
  4. USDINR exchange rate.
  5. Sometimes due to shortage or excess of the physical metal in the market, physical Gold and Silver may be trading at a premium or discount in relation to the futures prices in the local physical market. We reserve the right to determine to the best of our ability such premium or discount amount and calculate the market rate accordingly.
  6. Although we do our best to determine accurate and up-to-date market rates, Federated Mart Systems Pvt. Ltd. has the final discretion in deciding the Market Price/Rate and is not subject to discussion.
  7. Before purchasing, exchanging, initiating a refund or buyback, we encourage you to check and compare the Market Rates with us and also other sources so you are 100% satisfied with the price you are receiving for your Gold and Silver bullion
  8. Up to date market rates are published on our site and we try to update the rates with as high a frequency as possible.
  9. Market Rate does not include GST taxes.
Shipping Procedure for Returns/Replacement/Buyback
For Reverse or Buyback Shipment Arranged by Federated Mart:
  • We will arrange for reverse pickup within 36 hours of the confirmation of return or buyback acceptance by us.
  • You will need to provide the Return Authorization Code or Buyback Authorization Code (as applicable) to our courier partner while picking up the shipment from your location.
  • A courier person will come with special tamper proof package with your name, Mobile, Email address mentioned on the same. He will place the already pre-packed return material (in original packing along with product certificate) in the tamper proof pack in front of you and seal it. Subsequently, he would issue you a receiving of the same.
  • We will notify you of pickup confirmation within 12 hours of pickup via SMS/WhatsApp and email. In case you do not receive the pickup confirmation from us with 12 hours of pickup, please call our customer helpdesk immediately.
  • For returns, although our courier partner will inspect the item to the best of his ability, you are responsible for making sure all items & packaging that are part of the return are included in the package. Any missing items or packaging will delay and possibly derail the return/replacement process.
  • Please make sure the items are securely packed to minimize chances of loss, damage or theft during transit.
  • For returns/replacements, once our courier partner picks up the item(s) from you, we will assume responsibility for its safe shipment.
  • For buybacks, we provide the pickup from customer location as a courtesy service and will not be responsible for loss, damage or theft during transit.
  • For buybacks, our courier partner may not be able to inspect the items and you should pack the items extremely securely to minimize chances of loss, damage or theft during transit
  • Once we receive your item, we will notify you of the same via SMS/WhatsApp and email.
  • In all cases, make sure to include the invoice received with the product(s) as part of the return package.
For Reverse or Buyback Shipment Arranged by Customer:
  • Please paste or write the Return Authorization Code or Buyback Authorization Code (as applicable) on the package.
  • Please make sure to select a reliable shipping provider that accepts bullion items for shipment.
  • If available, you may wish to insure the items at your cost.
  • Please make sure to pack the items extremely securely, preferably in a metal box. We will NOT be responsible for any loss, damage or theft during transit whether the item is for return or buyback.
  • Inform our customer support when you ship the items and provide us with the shipment waybill/tracking number, so we can track it at our end.
  • If you wish, we can help you with selecting a shipping provider.
  • In all cases, make sure to include the invoice received with the product(s) as part of the return package.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, difference or claim arising out of this Buyback, Exchange, Returns & Refund Policy the same shall be settled in accordance with the Laws of India through regular judicial process and the courts of Faridabad, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
